I have ordered one or two dishes in the past and have never been disappointed in terms of taste. The atmosphere is also cozy, you just feel good. We didn't get a table for dinner, so we only drank 2 cocktails each (right at the bar). These were both very tasty, the young staff friendly and relaxed.

I didn't like that you sit close to each other in the upper area and there is no distance regulation of 1.5 meters, also on request whether we do not have to register due to hygiene regulations, it was said so succinctly if you want you can enter yourself in a list on Entrance. If we hadn't asked, we would not have been advised. Very thin ice at the moment !!!! It is the duty of restaurateurs to communicate and control this.

I would like to start with part one ... It's October 10th, 2020 .... Shivering and a little reluctant to enter, we are on our way to our hotel "Nordseehotel City Bremerhaven". When we were level with the "Marlene" café on Theodor-Heuss-Platz and noticed the open gates of the café, we went in and entered a wonderful world ... We took a seat in very comfortable cushions ... Two hot drinks were just finished right and after a short chat with the staff they came promptly. We immediately liked this location. But since it was too early to order something hearty, we wanted to reserve for later. Unfortunately, reservations were no longer possible, only at earlier times, i.e. from 5 p.m. Shouldn't bother us, we accepted (and were happy after reading the menu). I'm not a fan of belly brushing or unnecessarily fake gratification ... But hey, they still exist. There is also the feeling of well-being and cosiness, as you may know from a trusted restaurant at home. We ordered Penne Mediterranio and Pizza Salami ... Nothing special, of course, you can get it on every corner at the Italian restaurant ... But far from it ... Penne in this quality, combined with all these flavors and accompanying products, so I have this dish Not really enjoyed in this form and manufacture ... Five star cuisine ... By the way, my wife's pizza was also very delicious and sufficiently "portioned". Now we were full, but not "sick of vomiting", but pleasantly relieved of hunger. A cocktail should round off our great evening here and quite honestly, it cleared up ... Cocktails are offered in abundance on every corner. Cocktails that taste like "What" and have a fair price-performance ratio are available here at the "Marlene" !!! We had the "StrawberryCaipi", "Americano" and "AlabamaStammler" ... And then to the hotel ... Great !!! Visit the "Marlene" and enjoy ... By the way, the two guys who serve you are just honest, very courteous and gave us a feeling of being welcome ...

Reservation was forgotten, food from the menu not available (although an explicit phone call was made for this), vegan dishes ok, but bland and NO Corona lists are kept. 2 stars because the atmosphere is nice.

The worst evening of my whole life actually 0 stars We were guests there on September 19, 2020 Towards the evening. We hadn't made a reservation because we come from Celle and I wanted to visit my father, including dinner, etc. They haven't seen each other for 5 years The food came after 1.5 hours of waiting And unfortunately my medallions were like shoe sole not even with a fork you could put in that was blatant the waiter had noticed and A complaint was made after 10-15 minutes it came back Nice and bloody back ? ne it shouldn't be like that So it went back to the kitchen and came back half bloody and a complaint was made again after 15 minutes The same meat was now back on my plate In the Corona period, I just want to note that. Since I had cut the meat If I had Corona now, half would be sick now That was still amusing so far and I had laughed so many mistakes ? I had never had another complaint because I just wanted to eat after 2.5 hours After dinner I suddenly felt so bad heart racing, Abdominal cramps, sweating and, yes, after 10 minutes I had diarrhea as bad as water. The nightmare started immediately Find a toilet in minutes after 10 p.m. Somehow I had to go back to the hotel, the car was almost 2-3 km away I died of pain and yes I am writing this: it ran down my legs in the city center For a young woman the worst in the world when you can no longer hold it We also had to go to the hotel and I was in such extreme pain I would rather have 1 child than that I also needed an emergency pharmacy that night Now a day later I'm feeling a little better I'll have to go to the doctor on Monday By the way, there was no food at our table because of everything halfway through, and the chicken breast wasn’t done My husband doesn't feel good in the stomach area, he also complained about the food 3 times and tried a few pieces with me I'm really sorry for the waitress who had to pay for it and not only at our table and he did a great job but he always had to apologize either because of the kitchen or the purchase of meat Drinks were on the house but that didn't make it good later The Corona address lists are not kept here either Because we didn't have to fill them out and the tables around us didn't have to either I will never forget that in my life And the store will never see us again. The fun cost us around 70 euros

The Marlene Bar is located in the building of the city theater and has a special atmosphere. The cocktails are very tasty as are the wines on offer. The food here is also excellent and varied. Special praise goes to the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The bar is a great place to meet up with a few friends for a beer in the evening and have something delicious to eat.

Super delicious food, gladly again, visited twice in a 3-day holiday, the price is definitely worth it, dogs are always welcome and are given something to drink without asking. Very, very nice ambience. Always my pleasure!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Great food, delicious cocktails and great service. If we are in Bremerhafen again, we will definitely come back. Only the name has changed or is still Marlene, but no longer a steak house. Reopening in August 2020.

the food was okay, nothing special but not bad either. The price-performance ratio is not right in my eyes. You can't call it child-friendly either, there isn't even a high chair.

Very nice and courteous staff. We sat outside in wonderful weather. Despite current conditions (which were fully complied with here) it was comfortable and funny with the staff. Disinfecting the toilets is also possible. Please keep it up. We would like to come again.

We wanted to test this location for ages and never got around to it. Today, on the weird night, it finally worked. We were absolutely thrilled! - great ambience - attentive and friendly staff - delicious, good quality food and drinks - top organization (especially related to this event) - quick service We would definitely like to come back!
